Craig & Ruth Renwick, Handcrafted Tiles
A South African born native Craig Renwick worked beside renowned potter and artist Gillian Bickell for 14 years. His love for pottery moved him to England, where he advanced his techniques in pottery and pottery production. Craig later returned to his homeland of South Africa with a strong focus on pottery. But as fate would have it one day in 2007, Craig's aunt Joy knowing how talented Craig was, asked if he could make tiles for her kitchen nook. That's when the seed was planted, and the rest was history. In 2008 Renwick Handcrafted Tiles were formed in Knysna South Africa.
Renwick Handcrafted Tiles Comes To America
After ten years of success in South Africa, Craig and Ruth Renwick decided they wanted to be close to family in the U.S., and in 2018, they sold their business with the rights to Renwick Handcrafted Tiles in America. New owners Ryan and Shaz Kensley, supplied unique gifts, talents, and personalities to an already thriving tile business in South Africa.
