The Treeline tiles are a personal favorite of mine. Craig and I designed them because of the high demand for nature to be added to decoration. We were living in Knysna South Africa at the time and if you have been lucky enough to ever go there it is known for its forest. Although the names don’t really represent the tree we did rename them when we moved to California to better describe them to the American market. The tree line has been used as mixes with the contemporary tiles and plain tiles. They are beautiful in one color or as in the painted series.
A little more about Renwick tiles and our outlook on tiles. We have enjoyed working with tiles. The possibilities are endless, and I have so many ideas I have not even been able to get to yet. Recently w e have add a few “gadgets” to our design desk which makes it possible to create patterns for the tiles to make logos shaped tiles (I want to do a feature wall of Escher’s “Sky and Water”) We can design to the size you want. We were lucky enough to move into a home across the street from a skilled artist and have used her for a few projects as well as a few murals for shops in the area.
We are always open to hearing your ideas, and have the ability to create them. We have a in house color lab, where Craig makes all our glazes and match’s colors for clients. Renwick tiles are hand sprayed, what that means is that one tile can have a few tones giving the effect of movement. Our Tiles are designed, made and glazed in Southern California, all materials are sourced in the United St
